My ICF Kind Kingdom Blog Post

Today in ICF we played Kind Kingdom. I personally liked this game because it is all about showing kindness.

How to play Kind Kingdom: All you have to do is spread kindness to the little coloured robots but be careful and watch out for the big golden one he minuses 5 points from your score, your score can be a lot or can be quite low. For my score I got 390 which is pretty good, and every time you show kindness to the little guys they give you a 10 score which is not bad and here is my certificate from the game.

Here is the link to my certificate.

Is music more important than sports?

Is music more important than sports?

Hello my name is Oli and I go to Rutherford Intermediate in Whangnui, and today I will talk about if some people agree that music is more important than sports, and I will talk about what I think about both sports and music.

First off I will talk about what I think about sports, I think that sports is better than music because sports helps your mental health and so does music but sports can get your heart pumped up and blood would get around your body and it will get you tired and puffed which is good a thing, sports also has great teamwork abilities in certain sports and teamwork helps you get to know someone you don’t know even know which is good and sports also has good communication in lots of sports like netball, football, basketball and lots more and that is all I have to say about why music is more important than sports.

Secondly I will talk about if people agree that sports is more important than music, I will persuade you about music if you prefer sports more than music, the good thing about music is that you can choose so many songs if you want to listen to music, there are lots of types of music like pop, rock, hip pop and more there are also calming music if you are mad and if you are tired there is sleep music and there are lots of different apps you can use like Spotify,Youtube,Soundcloud and lots more and that is all I have to say about why music is more important than sports.

Conclusion: So what do you think of that? That is all I have to say about both sports and music. In my opinion I like both music and sports. They are both equal to me. I love sports and I love music so that is all I have to say about both sports and music.

My Weekly Recount

My Weekly Recount

This week I did not learn anything and we did a recount on maths and there was 50 question and we had to finish the question in 2 days no one finished, and I was on question 42 and there was fractions to decimals, decimals to fractions, +ing fractions together and more, it was easy as in my opinion but not for other people. The most fun thing I did this week was playing 2 square and 4 square with my friends such as Jaxon,Oscar,Wirihana,Craig,Yassein,Edward and Sam. I learned nothing hard this week at school for me it has just been quite a chill week at school, nothing special happened at school this week.

Overall I had a good, nice and chill week at school  because nothing was hard but nothing was easy and Oscar also came over to my house for a bit but then he ended up staying for dinner and that was my week

One morning, his mother said, “Tommy, you should (3) get dressed before breakfast.” Tommy looked at her, but (4) he wanted to stay in his pajamas. He must (5) eat breakfast, but he said he was too sleepy.

After a while, Tommy’s little sister tried to help him clean up his room. Tommy said, “I will (6) do it later.” She looked at him although (7) she wanted him to understand it was important.

Finally, Tommy’s mother said, “Tommy, you had to (8) go to school without brushing your teeth.” Tommy frowned, because (9) he didn’t like getting ready. He must (10) brush his teeth quickly, so (11) he went downstairs.

After breakfast, Tommy must (18) get dressed and should (19) wash his hands. He thought, “I can (20) be messy every morning if I want to have fun, but (21) I should also take care of my things.”

Tommy learned that mornings can (22) be busy, and (23) they can also be fun if he followed a few simple rules. He smiled and decided that tomorrow he should (24) wake up earlier, so (25) he could enjoy both playtime and a clean room.
